Reno Kick-Off Rally – Saturday 11:00 am, 5915 Tyrone Rd

The Kick-Off Rally in Reno will be held across from the West End Abortion Site, located at 5915 Tyrone Rd, Reno, at 11:00 am this Saturday. Join us as we share highlights from previous campaigns, as well as tips for how we plan to have a successful campaign this season, as we gather to Pray to End Abortion.

Carson City Kick-Off Rally – Wednesday 6:30 pm, 1201 N. Stewart St

The Kick-Off Rally in Carson City will be held on the sidewalk in front of the Carson City Planned Parenthood facility, at 1201 N. Stewart St, Carson City, at 6:30 pm Weds evening. Come hear stories of success from previous campaigns and be part of the start of something new at this location, as we Pray to End Abortion in Carson City.

Please Stay on the Sidewalk or Across the Street

Just a quick reminder that we don’t want to be in the street when we come to pray with 40 Days for Life. When at the vigil site in Reno, please stay either on the sidewalk or on the dirt across the street when you come to pray. We also are not allowed to block vehicles entering or exiting the driveway of the abortion site, nor can we block pedestrians on the sidewalk.

When at the sidewalk in front of the Carson City Planned Parenthood, please do not enter the property of the mall in which their facility is located. Remember that you are an ambassador for the local pro-life community, so conduct yourself accordingly, offering assistance and life affirming options to all who enter there, from employee and volunteer to frightened or misguided teen.

Thank you for your continued cooperation. If you are asked to move by a police officer, please comply immediately and ask for his name and badge number. We’d like to keep track of any encounters between those who are volunteering at the sidewalk and the Reno / Carson City Police departments, so please email us at 40DaysforLifeRenoTahoe@gmail.com or call us at 775-410-PRAY.

Help us fill the hours at the sidewalk, as we attempt to match that which other cities have accomplished numerous times since 40 Days for Life started in the Fall of 2007; full coverage on the sidewalk of the local abortion site, for 40 consecutive days.
