Signs Risk Citation

The large “Abortion” “Stops A” “Beating” Heart” signs which have stood at the side of the road in front of the abortion site at 5915 Tyrone Road in Reno sat this morning atop a field of white snow and their message stood out as though they were neon signs, capturing the attention of the cars passing by.   Unfortunately, these signs, and others that have been placed on the ground have also captured the attention and the ire of Dr. Damon Stutes, the abortionist.   Such a message reaches the hearts of those who see it, and this is certainly contrary to the success of his business.   There is speculation that these signs are not in compliance with a City Ordinance or County Code and the Sr. City Inspector responsible for Code Enforcement came by to let us know that while we can continue to hold signs (or have them on our parked cars), we cannot place them on the ground.   After learning that he had requested that they be removed, a call was placed to his office, asking for clarification regarding the code infraction that was being enforced.   We anticipate hearing back from him tomorrow morning, so watch for more news, as we seek clarification on this matter.

Full Staff On Hand, Women Made Quick Visits

It appears that there was a full staff on hand at the Reno abortion site, and the women who entered the facility made quick visits, presumably to pay for their upcoming appointments.   Please keep these women in prayer, that they, as with the women who came last week, might reconsider their decision to end the lives of their children.   We know, especially after talking with Elizabeth last week, that the signs held at the entrance of the abortion site cause these women to consider what they are doing.   Pray that the Holy Spirit move on their hearts and waken them to the beauty of the gift they are carrying in their womb.

Dr. Stutes drove in at noon, with an angry attitude on his arrival.   Please keep him especially at the front of your prayers.   He is a man who dearly needs to know the Love and Mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.    Through the Love and Mercy of God, Dr. Stutes can leave behind the anger that has plagued his life for so many years.   It is for this peace that we need to pray for him.   Pray that he appreciates that the abortions he performs harm all involved, including himself and his staff, as their souls remain separated from the Love and Peace that is offered through Christ alone.

Pray also for the women who work at the abortion site.   There are some who appear to have their hearts softening, and we pray that we can continue to be witnesses of the Love of Christ so that they can feel comfortable to turn to us if they decide they want to leave their jobs.   If you are present at the sidewalk and have the opportunity to encounter any of these people, please do your utmost to be kind and loving towards them, letting them know that we pray for them and are willing to offer them whatever assistance they might need to leave their jobs and find other employment.   Other 40 Days for Life campaigns have provided housing and job placement assistance to women who have left the abortion site and we need to be willing to step up and offer the same to those who come to realize that they are in fact not helping the women they serve.   Sadly, many of these women may mistakenly believe that they are helping by providing abortions, and if we remain true to our mission of Love we can help them reconsider their position.

Volunteers Fill the Sidewalk With Prayer

Despite the snow standing on the ground, our faithful prayer volunteers continued to show up to pray at the sidewalk through-out the day, starting first thing in the morning and continuing through-out the early evening.   One volunteer even asked her husband to drop her off at the sidewalk after he picked her up from the airport, having flown across the country.   It is this kind of dedication that will allow us to continue our prayer coverage on this site, and we know that God answers those who are persistent in their prayers.   Today saw our coverage with as many as four people present at a time to a few stretches with only one person kneeling in prayer.   Won’t you come to the sidewalk and assist those who are already present.   There is power when we bring people together to pray.   To sign up on the vigil calendar go to: www.vigilcalendar.com/renotahoe.   If you’ve already registered, your username is your email address.   If you have forgotten your email, there is a simple mechanism by which your password can be sent to you email address.   If you still have difficulty getting registered, feel free to send your questions to: 40DaysforLifeRenoTahoe@gmail.com or call: 530-412-1573.

On Wednesday, the MOM’s group from the Immaculate Conception Parish is adopting the sidewalk.  In addition to their coverage, we need volunteers from 11 am – 3 pm and again from 6-7 pm.

On Thursday, the Immaculate Conception Parish has adopted the sidewalk.   Please come and join them on the sidewalk.

In the meantime, you are welcome to sign-up or simply show-up to pray at the sidewalk at any time of the day or night when you are available to join us.   Your prayers have value well beyond anything we can see and we welcome whatever contribution you can make to the effort as we Pray to End Abortion.

Wisconsin Planned Parenthood Caught in Sex Abuse Cover-Up

[LifeSiteNews.com, Milwaukee] - New undercover footage shows staff at a Milwaukee, WI. Planned Parenthood abortion clinic apparently breaking the law by counseling a purportedly 14-year-old statutory rape victim not to tell anyone about her 31-year-old boyfriend, and coaching her how to obtain an abortion without her parents' consent.

The new video, the seventh in a series from Live Action documenting similar behavior in 5 other states, comes amid recent controversy about Planned Parenthood's compliance with state laws regarding minors and abortion.

After hearing that the girl is 14 and her boyfriend is "much older," the counselor in the video says that whether or not the situation will be reported by clinic workers "depends on the person you're disclosing that information to." When the girl says that her boyfriend is 31, the counselor tells her, "You don't have to say anything" about the statutory rape and instructs her, "Just give them the information that's needed." The counselor also confirms that the 31-year-old "boyfriend" will be paying for the abortion.

In Wisconsin, sex between an adult and a minor under age 16 is a felony, and health care professionals are required to report such cases to law enforcement immediately. The law specifically includes abortion providers in this requirement.

Live Action, the youth-led pro-life nonprofit that produced the video, has previously released undercover footage in its "Mona Lisa Project" showing sexual abuse cover-up at Planned Parenthood clinics in California, Indiana, Arizona, Tennessee, and Alabama.

The Alabama Department of Health put a Birmingham Planned Parenthood on probation two weeks ago after finding 9 legal violations during an investigation prompted by a Live Action video.   To Continue Reading and View the Video
