Today, on the day the abortion industry callously celebrates "Abortion Provider Appreciation Day," at 40 Days for Life vigils across North America, you may see signs that are a bit different from the usual posters and banners.
These signs say "I regret my abortion" and "I regret lost fatherhood."
The people holding these signs represent the Silent No More Awareness Campaign -- people who have personally experienced the pain of abortion; people who have also found Christ's healing touch and forgiveness.

The need for healing is real.
The abortion total since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision in 1973 is over 50 million -- 50 million innocent children who have perished, plus untold millions of mothers, fathers, grandparents, extended family members and friends who have experienced emotional and spiritual pain -- some of them for many, many years.
Beth in Portland, Oregon shares a story that shows the ongoing need to reach out with the love of Christ to those who are suffering.
Planned Parenthood is currently building a massive abortion mega-center in Portland, Oregon. And that's where two people were praying on a busy street on a rainy Sunday morning. As they prayed, they noticed a young man across the street who was calling to them. Beth reluctantly motioned to him to come over.
At first he seemed to be yelling, and she didn't know what to expect. But he quickly showed that he just desperately needed to talk.
"I have to tell you something," he said. "My girlfriend had an abortion and it is the worst thing I have ever been a part of in my whole life. She suffers from mental instability, so she figured she was doing the kid a favor -- you know, doing the right thing."
At this point, the young man paused a few moments to collect himself. "I had no idea," he said. "If I had known how it would be -- how it would feel afterwards-- I would have begged her not to do it!"
"He went on like this until he was sure we understood the complexities and the desperation of his situation," Beth said.
"He also shared that he went to a clinic with a friend who needed pregnancy counseling. The first thing the friend was told was that she should get an abortion and where to get it." The young man told the agency employees how utterly wrong their advice was; that his friend should be given real options. Of course, he was asked to leave.
Sharing this story was obviously painful. He kept saying, "I can't really talk about this." But he struggled through until he had said everything that was on his heart.
"We thanked him for sharing his true and painful circumstances of his personal story," Beth said, "and asked him to keep sharing it with others -- to give them hope and direction -- and to accept for himself the forgiveness that is his for the asking."

Join as we mourn the lives lost at the abortion site and the potential never realized through the horror of abortion. Bring your large sized votive candles and wear clothes in black to symbolize the mourning of these losses.
This is a Catholic devotion of praying for the Mercy of God, but all are welcome to join.
Life Chain, March 15, 2 – 3:30 pm
Life Chain, for those who are unfamiliar with it, is a peaceful witness to the fact that Abortion Kills Children, and Abortion Hurts Women. Women Deserve Better than Abortion, but if they don’t know the truth, they may find themselves submitting to this as their supposed best option.

Obama Order Opens Door to Widespread Killing of Embryonic Humans in Government-Funded Research

[National Right to Life] In a White House ceremony today, President Barack Obama signed an executive order to allow federal funding of research that will require the killing of human embryos.
This order reverses a policy instituted by former President George W. Bush in August 2001, which funded research on already-existing stem cell lines without encouraging any further destruction of human life.
Much of the press coverage anticipating Obama's order continued to ignore or downplay the striking advances made in recent years in research using stem cells from non-embryonic sources, including adult stem cells and reprogrammed adult body cells (iPSCs). Do No Harm, a coalition of scientists and researchers opposed to embryo-killing stem cell research (www.stemcellresearch.org), has posted a list of over 70 different disorders for which there have been one or more peer-reviewed scientific studies showing a measure of positive benefits in human patients.

Snowflake Babies, Pro-Life Congressmen Upset by Obama's Stem Cell Decision

Radical Pro-Abortion Governor Awaiting Approval to Cabinet
[Christian Anti-Defamation Commission] Radical, pro-abortion Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius is President Obama’s most recent nominee for the critical cabinet position of Secretary of Health and Human Services. With all that Obama has pledged to do regarding expanding abortion rights and expanding health care, this position will be among his most important.
When it comes to making political appointments, it is a truism that “personnel is policy.” This nomination exposes the true nature of the Obama Presidency and demonstrates just how radical his agenda really is.
Obama’s Team of Liberals
Obama’s nomination of Sebelius’ to the cabinet is characteristic of his Presidency thus far. He already has a team of anti- family, pro- abortion radicals within his senior advisors.
- Rahm Emanuel, Chief of Staff- As a member of Congress he repeatedly voted against the ban on partial-birth abortion.
- Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State- Known for her radical support of feminist and homosexual agenda’s, Clinton supports making taxpayers pay for abortions abroad and at home.
- Susan Rice, Ambassador to the United Nations- Rice believes the United Nations plays a key role in protecting and providing abortions throughout the world.
- Eric Holder, Attorney General- Under the Clinton Administration, he helped repeal the anti-pornography policies of President Ronald Reagan.
- Thomas Pirelli, Associate Attorney General- He was the leader of the legal battle that led to the starvation death of Terri Schiavo.
- Dawn Johnsen, Assistant Attorney General- Johnsen was the former director of pro-abortion group, NARAL Pro-Choice America.
- Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education- While CEO of Chicago’s public schools, Duncan approved a high school fully devoted to helping students affirm their belief that they were homosexual.
Sebelius’ appointment by President Obama is clearly agenda driven. She is radically as pro-abortion as he is. For both of them to claim to be Christians, and yet to support abortion up unto the day of birth is tantamount to infanticide and is total defamation of the Christian faith. A lack of respect for the sanctity of human life is in complete opposition to Christ and His teachings.
