Others can say, “This is humanly foolish, humanly impossible. How can we transform the world from the path of death that it’s on?”

We are called to be faithful. The Lord will bring about transformation in His time according to His will.

“the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no man may boast before God.

But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, "LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD” -- 1 Cor 1:25-31

Silent No More Awareness Day Observed
Women — and men — who’ve experienced abortion stepped forward with signs reading “I regret my abortion” and “I regret lost fatherhood.” It’s an important step towards showing that there IS healing after abortion and there IS redemption in the merciful grace of Jesus Christ.

In Charlotte, North Carolina a number of people shared their stories. “It was one of the most special times of prayer that I have ever experienced,” said Katherine, one of the local leaders in Charlotte.

“Of those that came,” she said, “some had never been to an abortion clinic to pray and some had never publicly acknowledged their past abortion. One of those that came to stand and hold her sign had never told her son about this previous abortion; this gathering provided that opportunity.”

The vigil participants gathered for prayer, sang “Amazing Grace” and concluded with the Lord’s Prayer. “I realized what a gift this day was for all of us,” Katherine added.

If you haven’t already received your Life Chain signs for this weekend’s Life Chain – Sunday, 2:00 – 3:30 pm, S. McCarran & S. Join us as we stand witness to the Gospel truth, that Abortion Kills Children, Abortion Hurts Women and Jesus Forgives and Heals. A $1.00 per sign donation is suggested to assist us in covering our costs.

Vigil of Mourning, March 13, 6:00 pm (tonight)
Join as we mourn the lives lost at the abortion site and the potential never realized through the horror of abortion. Bring your large sized votive candles and wear clothes in black to symbolize the mourning of these losses.

This is a Catholic devotion of praying for the Mercy of God, but all are welcome to join.

Life Chain, March 15, 2 – 3:30 pm
Life Chain, for those who are unfamiliar with it, is a peaceful witness to the fact that Abortion Kills Children, and Abortion Hurts Women. Women Deserve Better than Abortion, but if they don’t know the truth, they may find themselves submitting to this as their supposed best option.

Additional signs state: Jesus Forgives and Heals; Adoption is the Loving Option; Lord, Forgive us and our Nation; El Aborto Mata Niño’s; Life the First Inalienable Right; and Pray to End Abortion.

40 Days through Scripture

Day 17: John 15 – 19

“If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own, but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you. Remember the word I spoke to you, ‘No slave is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. And they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they do not know the one who sent me. …”

Remember these words when anyone questions your support for the unborn. Yes, the innocent deserve protection and those who persecute you for taking a stand for the unborn know neither Christ nor the Father who sent Him. We are called to share the Gospel truth with all mankind, so use this as an opportunity to give witness to the love of Christ, through the loving way you respond to persecution. For as scripture tells us: “If I speak in human and angelic tongues, but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.” (1 Cor 13:1)

Barack Obama's Support Dropping as Abortion Promotion Continues
Washington, DC [LifeNews.com] -- Two respected national pollsters say the data shows President Barack Obama's support is dropping and that it is lower than President Bush's at this time in his presidency. They also point out that Obama has driven up high negative numbers among some voters, likely due to his promotion of abortion.

Douglas Schoen, a pollster for former president Bill Clinton, and independent pollster Scott Rasmussen penned a new analysis for the Wall St. Journal.

"It is simply wrong for commentators to continue to focus on President Barack Obama's high levels of popularity, and to conclude that these are indicative of high levels of public confidence in the work of his administration," they begin.
