National Campaign Daily Intention
May we absorb the truth that God is paying attention to us, and to each human life, personally and individually.
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.”
-- Psalm 8:3-9
Lord, you are the creator of all things. Guide my thoughts to consider your creation in all of its majesty, beauty and holiness. Guide my heart especially to your creation of precious human life.
Help me to comprehend how essential life is in your own heart. Teach me to appreciate, love and protect all human life through your son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Planned Parenthood struggles to keep guards
A clinic security guard quit his job in Sioux City, Iowa after the last 40 Days for Life campaign. And then a few months later, his replacement also quit!
Sue says this Planned Parenthood facility has hired two fresh guards, but the new guards do not come outside very much to wave cars into the parking on abortion days as was previously done.
"Also, these guards require Planned Parenthood clients to give up their cell phones as they enter, so once they're inside no one on the outside can communicate or make a direct plea for a change of heart."
Clearly, Planned Parenthood sees that it's bad for business if there's an opportunity for sidewalk counselors to talk to their patients -- or their workers!
Power of Prayer
Alice in Little Rock was standing out in the rain when a car pulled up right behind her and a man got out -- with a badge and a gun. A security guard? Not this time. It was a law enforcement officer with something on his mind.
He stepped up to Alice and said, "I have wanted to stop and pray with you all forever. Here you are in the rain and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to pray with you. Can I please pray with you?"
"We stood under the umbrella and prayed a beautiful prayer from his heart. As soon as he finished," Alice said, "he thanked us and turned, got in his car, waved and drove off. That is the power of prayer."

40 Days through Scripture
Day 18: John 20 – Acts 4
“Now Peter and John were going up to the temple area for the three o’clock hour of prayer. And a man crippled from birth was carried and placed at the gate of the temple called “the Beautiful Gate” every day to beg for alms from the people who entered the temple. When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked for alms. But Peter looked intently at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.” He paid attention to them, expecting to receive something from them. Peter said, “I have neither silver nor gold, but what I do have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, [rise and] walk.” Then Peter took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles grew strong. He leaped up, stood, and walked around, and went into the temple with them, walking and jumping and praising God. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the one who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with amazement and astonishment at what had happened to him.”
-- Acts 3:1-10

Obama Administration Denies Negative Effects of Abortion at UN Women's Meeting
[LifeNews.com] -- The Obama administration has been pushing the pro-abortion agenda all week at the annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) meeting at the United Nations. During the forum, a representative of President Barack Obama denied that abortion causes any negative effects for women.
As LifeNews.com has noted, the Obama administration has been pushing the adoption of language in the outcome document CSW members hope to adopt that could be used later to create an international right to abortion. Read more

Send a RED Envelope
Red Envelope Day - March 31, 2009
Get a red envelope. You can buy them at Kinkos, or at party supply stores.
On the front, address it to:
- President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500
- This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion. It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world. Responsibility Begins at Conception.
Don't forget to put your name and return address on it or they will just pitch them out!
Encourage others to participate. It would be wonderful if we could send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died [only in the U.S.] before having a chance to live…
It may seem that those who believe abortion is wrong are in a minority. It may seem like we have no voice and it's shameful to even bring it up. Let us show our President and the world that the voices of those of us who do not believe abortion is acceptable are not silent and must be heard.
